Gordy,

Despite my rough edges and battle as I join (sorry, wasn't meant to be). Thanks for a great figure site. After spending a few days reading the posts, this is better than any site I've seen in years. Truly a great place ot go in terms of contents and graphics. I've seen you sculpting talents online and now ( belated) for you to have a site like this shows how truly talented you are.

Cheers! (y)

Thanks and thanks, our aim is to bring together miniaturists from all genre's and reaches of the globe (thus the emphasis on the foreign languages) there is alot of untapped talent running in different circles gloablly with different techniques and methods that is cross genre applicable.

We [planetFigure] desire to exchange such information in a simple 'community' atmosphere, the "Workbench" section is a testiment to that and provides members a unique way of an online journal/worklog of projects in progress facilitating other members to inquire and critique the stages of progression of a piece and to serve as instructional for those just starting out.

planetFigure provides the engine, the members make it what it is (y)

Gordy,
Gotta agree with Lou, this site is awesome and truly gives us a vehicle to take the solidarity of figuring to a more collaborative environment...
Thanks! (y)

All the best

You're right on Gordy! This is why I have become an active participant vs. a casual 'lurker'. This site has been a tremedous help to me as a newbie and the focus has stayed on hobby and the sharing of information. And that from folks all around the globe with a common passion. The people here are what make this site truley remarkable and highly enjoyable.

Thanks to all who contribute!! (y) (y)

This is the internet at it's best.

Too True!!!

Found this site in its infancy and seen it grow tremendously.

I lurk all over the place on other forums, but enjoy the broadness of this site and the good humour and support of all members here!

Proud to be a part of it.

Hats off to Gordy and the Membership!!

Rob

My 2 cents worth...

I think that since I got back in to the hobby 9 mos ago, I have had as much fun sharing with the folks on this site as I have the actual painting.

Thanks again for providing the venue!

Lou,

... And a word of welcome from me too, my old and unmet friend. (y) ... I like Planetfigure too, it has become my "modelling" club! (y)

best regards,

Johan
