Painting that with Vallejos will cost a fortune :D

I hate wallpapering and house painting. Even more I hate people who tell me "But you paint all these little things so this is certainly a pleasure for you too"

I'd recommend pre-shading with all that area to cover.

Good luck!
At least it's easy with a roller! And think how much faster than painting a figure.

Jaume , that's a handfull you've got there !! good luck and make it quick. I always enjoy seeing your work

Ha! I'm glad to see I'm not the only one undergoing the trials of DIY. Good luck Jaume.

Regards Callum.

Manfred,

I get the same thing!

"Oh, you paint all those little sodliers, so it must come natural to you" A.) I hate doing it and B.) How many straight lines do you see on any of those little soldiers? and C.) Painting soldiers does not cause me severe neck and back pain for days afterwards.

Just show her the size of the brushes and pots of paint and explain just how long and how much it will take. Claim to have weak wrists that can't bear anything over a size 3 Series 7 brush!
And if all else fails tell her that do it yourself means do it YOURSELF and not nag me into doing it. I painted 3/4 of a wall in 1973 and left it for a couple of days to finish it off - I have near been asked again

Jaume,
I hear that paint-slinging is the new thing...give it a go, I am sure the spousal unit will enjoy the creative aspect of the application . Besides staying inside the lines is SO overrated ;)

All the best

Patrick

Hello Jaume,

Are you ready yet??
Otherwise we all can come over to help you. Could be a nice idea for a workshop??

Hope to see you back soon. Like your style the most at the moment and I'm trying to use the techniques but never ever met it. But I will keep on trying.

Love to watch the pictures for hours.

Yoshi, still a little man from the Netherlands
