I was going to post a nice soothing christmas song by the late great bing crosby and then thought "sod it he never sang mine".
Perhaps I should highlight my new album for military modellers, featuring all time faves such as:-

"It takes a long brush, to dry brush mary... It takes a long brush for her
It takes a long brush to dry brush mary, so I left... her bare"

And not forgetting the family favourite:-

"If you go down to the hobby store,
You'll find that the bugger's closed..
If you go down to the hobby store
You'll find that the poor sod's gone.
For every kit that ever there was
Is on e-bay and the odds and sods.
Today's the day we pay the postie to bring them"

"If you liked me then you would've put paint on me
If you liked me then you would've put paint on me.
Where's the glue ue ue ueue".

Still time to order from ripmeoff records on the chargelots label or download from a simple intellect connection on your PC

Keeping it radical this yuletide ya getmedoh

And not forgetting the painters favourites.

"Don't you paint my brown eyes blue"

And

"It was an itsy bitsy teeny weeny
Fellow scot called tambourini
Made the first post, on my thread to-da-ay".

And from Perry Como
" Catch that falling part and put it in the packet,
Never let it roll away
Save that falling part from the rotten carpet monsterz,
Damn, make another any way.
And when it's done she taps you on the shoulder,
She's found a little piece of resin"

Arthur Askey
"I'm a blue paintbrush,
Your a pink tooth brush".
This ditty varies according to personal inclination of course,
and popular with all three sexes.

Hmrc christmas carol
"We three kits from orient are..
Subject to duty, we know where you are"

Well I hope you all joined with this years community singing, I can hear the calls for an encore so I shall leave that choice of song to you.

Hoping all your chestnuts are toasting nicely.

Paul

Bless 'em all... Bless 'em all
The long and the short and the tall
If you paint full figures, or if you do busts,
They're all here on Planet and buy them you must.
And we are saying thank you to them all,
The sculptors, the casters and all.
There's so much talent on this bloomin planet.
So paint up my lads bless 'em all.

"God bless everyone of us Mr Pip"
That's a VERY polite version I know a different one :sneaky:

Care to share ? I've got one:-

"So here it is merry christmas
Everybody's buying bits
I've got the new maralyn
I'm painting both her Eyes"

Mm needs some work that one

"I'm dreaming of a bright christmas
I've got a brand new daylight bulb"

"Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht,
I don't care, I've got some new flats"

I really don't care, I'm in my happy place

This thread is only the equivalent of "dad dancing" on xmas night to embarrass the kids,

The tree's in the oven and I'm just putting this angel in the turkey.

Paul

Peedee, Sounds like you are on top of things! (y)

I am struggling here!

My Dad is pre-stuffed, and marinating!

I cant find a 'Dancing Tree', :(

My 'Turkey', is sexually dominating the dog ??

And the 'Fairy', has an AK-47, with a really stern countenance about her? (Somehow access to her nether regions may well prove difficult)

Otherwise all is fine!! ;)

This is where I can help.
All these problems will be solved by the simple addition of much more JD to your coke.
If this doesn't work straight away, don't panic,
simply repeat the dose until a creeping numbness seeps into your very soul.

At this point you will have avoided the washing up, the queen's speech
and at least one episode of the Eastenders not so special.

If you have the recommended dose a side effect is that the batteries
will have been exhausted from the noisy toys that you haven't already 'accidentaly' sat upon.

The fairy with the ak47 however is just a dream about the fit steampunker on the scale 75 site.
It's not you, don't worry, gary higgins also has the same wet palette dreams apparently.
