Thanks Gentlemen for the kind remarks. It's a greenish OD shade but interestingly photographs differently depending on the lighting and surroundings. I used my reproduction AT The Front 1944 Airborne (he meticulously matched his original and color lots). for sculpting and painting reference. The desaturation process in Band of Brothers and Private Ryan have influenced our perception ....I put a lot of thought into the paint..thanks Mario for noticing ....its harder than one would think-its not Khaki Tan!

in Normandy and look att the parachutes not 1 is the same ,and so is coming the confusion,I have done also one now from 200mm and I get frustrated from it,but it's done now, here the picture
Kind regards

Very nice indeed love the fact that he’s in a kneeling position for a change. The colours have come out really well indeed a credit to you my friend.

Just completed another 1/16th project-Das Werk Stug III Ausf G. I've done it as Abt 270 with upgrades from AFV Modeler, Panzerwerk Designs Winterketten tracks, Rado Miniatures deck screens and Tropen filters. Crew I sculpted for Raptor Miniatures with slight mod to the commander figure

This is magnificent, faultless, and every other superlative I can think of !! Simply
a superb piece. Don't mean to gush but I can't recall seeing better. It's also proof
if any was needed that a clear well lit photo is infinitely preferable to one of those
irritating dark and moody things that we se so often these days. Surely one of
your best in my view, John.

pretty funny Joe ....they are big -the positives they really provide a large canvas for paint and detailing. The Stug III is a smaller one relatively speaking and the Jeep and upcoming M-8 Greyhound even smaller , but you knew that

I can't say much about this, just that it's very amazing work you have done, love it,a lot of details
the weathering,just everything is beautiful,great job (y)
