Hi Brian

Great to see you posting , you've really brought this to life , like the clothing texture ...paint effects or is it sculpted on ?

As for the face , looks very tones and ideal positioning for the eyes really effective

Why not enter a piece in class of your choice in FOTM and vote in previous month , there's also the Vignette & Diorama comp running

Always good to see your artwork hope we see more very soon

PM me if I can help in anyway

Happy benchtime

Thanks for the kind comments, Nap.

To answer your questions, much of the texture on the bust was cast on to pieces like the outer coat, the plume and the fur collar (how they removed the fur portions from the molds without tearing the mold to shreds is beyond me!). My painted addition to the texture was limited to some slight stippling on the togue (hat?). Eyes are always a crap shoot for me, especially at the smaller scales but I' m happy with the "shifty" look that this guy ended up with - more luck than good management, methinks!

Cheers,
Brian
