With Figureworld a scant two weeks away, we decided it was time we showed a little something we have been working on for a while...

The New Basement FigureRange

Two of the three figures below will be released with the third possible there but is away at the casters as we speak where he is feverishly casting away to get us some stock hopefully in time for FigureWorld.

Theres more in the pipeline, but for now we thought we would let the figures speak for themselves.

I am sure you will agree that the sculptors and painters have done a great job.

All look nice pieces good painting. Dont know if it its just the picture but the left ear looks a little low on the Peter Postlethwaite bust? Cant see all of the right ear in full to see if its the same, just my observation

Hi Tommi

The pictures are different, in one is head is pointing down in the other his head is pointing up, but I take your point...

Yes Robin could be the camera angle! Some side on shots would be good but will see it in a few weeks time anyway.

Well done to Rob and all the others involved with these releases, I am sure you will do well with them (y)

Cheers
Tommi

Good luck to you all in your new venture.

I agree with tommi the postlewaite bust just doesnt look right wi regards the ears and the shako peak should be flat.

What scale are they as its not mentioned

Gentlemen thank you for your comments
Stuart I hate to be a pedant, but don't forget this is not a bust of a Napoleonic figure but an actor, and I'm afraid costume designers get it wrong sometimes see pic below.

Well done to all The Basement team involved in this new venture. Great start all round. Well done Rob, for achieving such a great likeness. Looking forward to seeing them at FigureWorld. Keep it up lads - nice one!

Cheers

I second Steve's remark above and I hope I am in time to obtain a sample of the Postlethwaite bust, a worthy tribute to a great actor. Lovely job

I saw Sean the Orc and Girl in Top hat at the weekend and both were excellent. The Orc was painted absolutely beautifully, well done Rob and Adrian.Best wishes with the range,Ian

Good luck guys, the only one I've seen is the Orc by Sean Green, a cracking sculpt so looking forward to catching the others at FW.

Cheers Ken

I particularly like the bust of Hakeswill, such a nasty, petty character brought to life by a brilliant actor and modeled exceptionally well.
Congratulations Robert
