Well we are about two weeks away from FigureWorld as we have said before the excitement here at The Basement is growing and growing as the anticipation sets in. Theres lots of great features for the day which we just putting the finishing touches too.

A Finished one is the Demo's

As we have said before Conrad(PrawnPower) has been sorting out demo's for the day and he's finished so we can give you an idea of who you could see on the day Demoing.

The Demos are to be set on a table of their own where you can gather and watch these guys at work, asking all the questions you want. We here at TB would like to take this opportunity to thank the guys who are demoing for their time and involvement.

So the full list is:

Sculpting
- Sean Green(GoSeany)
- Rob Lane (ElanLane)

Painting (Acrylics)
- Hedley (Corpuscle)
- Rob Cardiss (Demonherald)
- Steve Walker (Snudge)

Painting (Oils)
- Hardy (Hardy)
- Malc Cuming (Sir Malc)

Other
- Bob from MDC---Casting
- Martyn (War Griffon)---- Photography

The running list for the day will be on TB forum and web zine closer to the day , but I think you will agree that there is quite a crowd of good modeler there with lots to offer and loads to learn from them. I certainly will be trying to get to talk to as many of the demonstrators as I can.

Display's on the Day

One of the things we are looking forward too most on the day is the display of painted figures that we know is going to be there from everyone that takes part, its a good idea not to forget there is that wonderful bust sculpted by Rob Lane, who just happens to be demoing as well, that you have a chance of taking away with you if you do display. You will need to make sure you have at least three figures in your display and this can include works in progress , but should be at least two finished pieces with a work in progress to make your three up, but we would love to see displays with lots more than three figures in, your certainly not limited to three.

Adrian Hopwood has done a small brief article on one way to display your figures. We first saw this type of display at Antwerp and it's starting to be adopted over here, with the Bristol BMSS doing this at their Bugle Call Show last year, where it was extremely well received.

Adrian's Article is here

We would very much like for you to bring your Works in progress, in fact we are banking on you all doing this, that way there will not only be great painted figures to see. There will be some promising pieces unfinished that will be great chat initiators. Its also a way to get some well given critique before the major competitions which are just around the corner. Euro Militaire and Golden Demon are not that far away, so take the chance for some great critique, it would be a shame to miss out.

We have more to tell you but that's for another time, next week here about the traders we have coming on the day, the info on this to come shortly.

Looking forward to seeing you there

The Basement Team
