A belter. Instantly recognisable as yours 
Don't know if I'd go with snow. I think a marsh type surface with a wet look and some tussocks and reeds
would work.

Nicely painted figure as usual but dont like the sound of him being out in the snow with no shirt on, you would have to go back and paint the goosebumps and a wee bit of clear varnish dripping from his nose.

The shield is just plain weathered wood.I didn't add any symbols.I'll post a picture soon.
