Hello Roc,

What's that. I can't believe my eyes. So nice, so beautiful, extremely well done.
I hope that someday in this life i can paint a knight on a horse.
I find it always amazing. Especially with the heraldy.
You had to make a promise.
When you do such a figure again, you must do a SBS.

I wanna thank you for the pictures.

Marc.

Hey Roc,

Extremely well painted. It is very meticulous. Always enjoy your painting.

regards :)

Much better pictures Roc of a beautifully painted figure. I enjoyed painting this Steel Bonnets figure years ago when it first came out. Its a shame it is no longer available. Alot of their kits were very well detailed. Thanks for posting the updated pictures.

Stunning !!!!!! I've always wanted to try some heraldry but all that intricate paintwork ...... Great job Roc.

Hi Bert, Thanks for the compliment and the encouraging words, much appreciated.

World war II figures are also very detailed, especially the different colors on the camoflage, I've never painted a modern figure yet,but I 'm looking forward to painting one in the future.

Cheers,

Roc. :)

Hello Marc, thank you very much for the kind words and I'm glad you like the figure.

I promise you that next time I paint a knight I will do a step by step.

Cheers,

Roc :)

Wong,my dear friend, thank you for all your encouragement, your comments and opinions are valuable to me.

Keep up the great sculpting.

Hey Guy, thanks I'm glad you like the new picture, much clearer than then old ones.

I would love to see your version of the the Black Prince, can you post some pics?

Take care.

Roc. :)

Ernesto, thank you very much for the compliment and the encouragement, I do value your opinion.
The vegetation used grows wild in the park where I go jogging, when I see something I like, I stop and gather some.
The miniature leaves come from a miniature plant that grows in California, I don’t know the name; I purchased several little bags from Phil Kessling, I don’t know if he still sells them.

By the way you did a fantastic job on the highlander, very well done. ;)

Ciao,

Roc. :)

That camera is quite an improvement. Great pics and great job on Edward! :)

Simply BEAUTIFUL!! I can really appreciate the time and energy spent on all the hearldry you painted on this piece. I did some simple crosses a few years ago and even though it turned out well, it was a nightmare.

Nice Job. Keep up the great work.

Here is my rendition of the 90mm Knight. I chose the red and yellow. The heraldry wasn't too bad as it was sculpted in relief on the figure. Just took alot of time to complete.

Roc and Guy, well done (y) I like this kind of figures, has any of you purchased the new 90mm Pegaso knight ? ;) ... expensive, I know, but you could make that one into a spectacular Richard the Lionheart !

Didn't I&E purchase the master figure of this Black Prince ?

Hello Johan, thanks, I'm glad you like both versions, diversity is the spice of life.

This was a figure originally sculpted by Peter Twist, one of the greatest miniature sculptors and produced by Bill Murray from still Bonnet.
Steel Bonnet sold the master to I&E; it was being produced for a short while from resin and from what I hear was not well caste.

I haven't seen this Pegaso figure; I'll have to check it out.

Cheers,
Roc. :)
