Hi Pfer's,

Have been thinking of doing this for some time and have had an armature of sorts sitting on the bench, where I've been sticking any leftovers of magicsculpt on. Some months back I decided to get a little more serious with it and have picked up the pace just recently.

The original YS06 bust that I have used has had a fair bit of alterations done to it. Probably the only parts I intend to keep will be the left arm and cap.

This will be a future release by Ybrossculpts, just no ETA right now as I have a few thing's that still need doing first.

Cheers
Chris

Hi Chris

That’s going to be a lovely figure , a challenge to get right so keep at it and updating the project here

Will you be recasting The Captain bust with the alterations you’ve done ?

Following with interest

Happy putty pushing

Thanks Kevin,

I may end up swapping out parts when needing a new mold, will see how it goes. But at the same time I thought it's an opportunity to put something slight different to the existing bust.
I think this might be the approach I'll take if there's an interest in the full figure's. But I would certainly feel there's could be an option to swap out and use a different head or arm from either bust or figure in the future.

Hi Pfer's,
More progress on the Captain. Have been doing a little carving with the dremmel on the arm as it was a lump of magic sculp attached originally in a basic shape. Will add some fresh putty on area's, then carve, sand again. The same with the torso.
It's turning out that pretty much the whole piece has had some modifications done, so it's literally a whole new piece separate from the original bust.

Regards,
Chris.

Hi Chris

Not such a quick adaption of the bust ...a lot of great work so far so it’s paying off well .....it brings a smile to my face even as it is .....like others have said your nailing his “athletic” body

Intriguing about the lanyard going towards the pocket .....are you not putting it down to a holstered pistol ?

Looking forward to seeing more

Thanks for sharing

Happy sculpting

Hi Nap,

This project is just about wrapped and ready to send off to the castor.
As for the lanyard, looking through the photo references I have, he seems to have it every which way. So I guess I decided to have it in the pocket unattached, it adds to the character's incompetence I guess :D
