Hi Dear Friends,
First of all, I would like to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and Seasons Greetings!
All the best!

I finished this very nice vignette from Tartar Miniatures.
You will find the inspiration and details in the next thread:

I'll post pictures showing the whole display followed by few detail pictures.
Thanks for watching and let me know your thoughts.
Cheers and hope you'll like it!
Zeno :)

Awesome finish on this project Zeno!!!
Both figs turned out beautifully and as usual your basing looks amazing.... A chunk of the Alleganies on your display shelf.

What did you use for foliage on your tree?

Look forward to seeing this on the 4th

Colin

Zeno, that is stunning. The figures are beautifully painted, the groundwork and base composition compliment them perfectly. I love that tree too.
Again, stunning work. Have a Merry Christmas.
Cheers

Merry Christmas Zeno. Outstanding groundwork. I love how you brought the groundwork down over the side of the base. What did you use to make the rocks and where did you get the leaves? Very nice job on the figures too. You have created a great little scene.

Thanks a lot for the great feedback! I'm glad that you like it! :)
For the leaves and small branches I used a product for model railroads and diorama from Flex I File . It is Forest in a Flash #9004 and the colour code is Birch and Aspen.
Here is the web site. They have 4 colours for the same product as you will see.

Colin, I bought this from Hamilton, last Feb. I'm sure that it will be available at the next show.
For the rocks I used 3 materials.
The rocks below the figures, on the vertical wall, I used putty shaped with a toothpick.
Around the tree at the base, the rocks are from pine bark.
Around the figs and tree, on top, I used few brick chips (hammer a brick and you will get very realistic small and big stones which can be used in various scales).
Hope it helps.
Cheers,
Zeno :)
