Hi everyone,
My next scratchbuild 54mm figure vignette ;). It depicts an Australian swagman from the 1900s entertaining some feral cats with a little story-telling :D.
Hat is from the Revell Anzac figure set.
Head from Hornet Models.
Hands from Royal Models.
Shoes and tin cup from Michael Robert Models.
Frying and billy can (modified) from Historex Models.
Cats are a mix from Sol Models and Tori Factory.
Figure is usual wire armature and Apoxie Sculpt mix.
Next up will be the groundwork base. Enjoy!
Cheers!
Kenneth.

Hi Kenneth

That's a nice subject , coming along really well , do like the story behind it , could almost hear the story !

Is this based on a picture perhaps ?

Following with interest

Looking forward to seeing more

Happy benchtime

Thanks Brad and Nap :p. Sorry, no corks on the hat as he is too poor to afford any ;).
As for your question, Nap, yes, I got the inspiration from an ink drawing of a swagman reading some Shakespeare prose to some sheep that he was watching over :D.
Thought the cats were more fun to do :woot:. Next up, vegetation.
Cheers!
Kenneth.

Hi Kenneth

Nice bit of vegetation there ...it's all coming together rather nicely now

Looking forward to seeing more

Wonder what song he will be singing to the cats ?

Happy benchtime

Hi everyone,
An update on the progress for my vignette. Groundwork airbrushed, billy can, cats painted and installed.
Next will be the swagman himself and his personal belongings.
Cheers!
Kenneth.

Hi Kenneth

Really nice groundwork , good painting on the felines

That's a good idea having the groundwork over the edges

Thanks for sharing the updates

Looking forward to seeing more

Happy benchtime

Groundwork looks great. Moggies are good too, I may have accentuated the stripes on them a little more as they are feral and probably resort to the stronger tabby trait. Mustn't forget the M on the forehead :p
Congrats, Mel
