Hi All,
Merry Chimpmas:D well at least it is for me as it has come early. Thank you Father Chimpmas.

I was overjoyed when I received this as a present from my mate Dimitry a.k.a. Gaudin before he emigrated, his sculpting talent had me jumping up and down on my tyre and chain with elation.

I wanted this to be my prime(mate) cabinet show piece, as it's a very precious piece to me and so I asked a number of friends for their help and they were only too willing to put themselves out on my behalf.
You have just got to love this site and more importantly the friends you make along the way.(y)

Therefore a massive public thank you has to go to;
Dimitry for the sculpt
Steve Readdie for the weapon and casting
Del for the printed labels
Chippy for the driftwood base
I'll congratulate myself for the foreign service helmet;)....thanks chimps and last, but at no means least

a very special thank you to Ron a.k.a. kagemusha for bringing him to life with such skilful brush work. I'm so proud to own painted pieces by Ron from my stable and this little chimp has pride of place at the front of my cabinet now.

I hope the photo's do the work justice - the eyes are unbelievably alive. Please enjoy the skill from some of my mates. Thank you all again from a big chimp, for my little chimp, I love him.:cool::cool:
cheers

Thank you my mate and I can assure you the sentiment is reciprocated my friend.

The wife saw him after coming in from work tonight and she was astounded, "the eyes are looking at me, they look real". So he definitely has pride of place.(y)

Did he get busted or something? I thought he was an RSM:D!

Well for a ranker he looks pretty sharp. Kudos to all involved for making this happen for you (y)!

A pleasure to see it finished and the amount of joy it brought (y) . Most difficult part was not to give anything away and meet the deadline for Terrier at the same time:)

Now that's a unique presentation piece.
Superb teamwork. Very well done to all concerned.

Cheers,
Andrew
