well hello guys .
After recreating my lab i thought that it was about time to start working .
As u understand in the new lab i am "forced" to work with my lil one , as she wont go out of the ding ding room every minute i am in there , so we work together. I have also established her a special seat - bench to sit right by my side so we can actually work together !!

I decided to do my first job in the lab something fully dedicated to my 20 months daughter, and what better than a fantasy vigniette. This Dwarf figure from Elisena's series "Little People" inspired me and also gave me peace and calm as long as i was working on this project . Also u have to know that she participated a lot in the project putting lil stones and vegies on the base and also responding me when i was asking her do u like this or that and she said yes or no guiding me to proceed or correct

I want to apologise from the start for this bad bad lighting on the pictures that doesnt let the real colours come out. But after having all me lighting systems destroyed from the fire ..u understand i have to work with minor equipment. I hope it improves after some time .

The vigniette base was layered with celluclay and after these i experimented with many materials from Woodland Scenics, and other Greenery companies. The mushroom was scratched from zero. i made an armature from balsa wood, stuffed with cork and after having the main volume ready i surfaced with thick celluclay . then i smoothed out with some PVA white glue. I dont know if it looks good, but it was a lot of fun doing that . It was all painted in oils and i have on purpose left a rough paint texture on it . The dwarf was all painted in Valejo acrylics and sealed with Valejo matt varnish

The figure from Elisena though so small, was perfectly sculpted and makes u consider of buying one more sometime. (this series from Elisena has many different dwarfs)

what else can i say .
i let the pictures speak for themselves asking once again to forgive my bad lighting on pictures.

Thanks everyone that assisted me and help me stay on the hobby

THIS ONE IS DEDICATED TO MY LIL GEM NEFELI
