Sorry to post this again, had problems with my previous photo site. If I'm making a major faux pas by doing this here instead of on the original post, I apologize.

Thanks for your patience and for looking, again. All comments or questions are welcomed.

Very nice job. I assume this is the Moebius Models version? How much filling/filing was needed to get the desired look? Once again, congrats on a fine tribute to Frazetta.

This is indeed the Moebius kit. I found the fit of most parts to be very good. As in any plastic kit there are seams to deal with, but nothing requiring huge amounts of putty. The big problem I found was fitting the right arm/cape to the body. I had to remove a lot of plastic from the inside of the cape to get it to fit properly. Also, the instructions would have you attach one single length of chain to the sword, and then drape it over his shoulder after he is mounted to the horse. Impossible to do it this way. If I had it to do over, I would cut the chain into two pieces. Attach one to the upper loop on the scabbard and run it over his shoulder and glue it just under his cape by his right arm. The second piece would run from the lower loop on the scabbard and under his cape like the instructions show it. One last note, after you assemble the stirrups to his feet, you'll find it hard to get him into the saddle. It can be done, but be careful of the spurs. I found he just snapped in place after I got his feet past the widest part of the horse. Despite these problems I would recommend this kit, not to a first time builder maybe, but to someone with a little experience. Hope this helps.

At last now I can see just what we've been talking about - and it looks glorious ! I remember Frazetta's painting which showed red glowing eyes
all very menacing. Nice ..... thanks for persevering.

Thanks, the kit box top has a reproduction of Frazetta's painting and has a removable sleeve, which makes it "suitable for framing". Just like some of the box tops of my youth.

Thanks, for the kid words and the link. I understand why PB did what they did, but I think they would have gotten a more positive response if they had given users less expensive options.

Nice work!
I'm still fussing with mine, getting the seams dealt with. Same issue with the cloak/cape. I broke out the Aves Apoxie Sculpt and re-sculpted the area around the neck and shoulders. Thanks for the tip about the sword's chains; I'll see what I can do with mine. The horse gets a light coat of primer today - please, no more seams!

Thanks, Jim. You're right, the cape does 'float' a bit above the torso. Also, when trying to figure out why the arm/cape didn't fit, I removed some material from under the front of the cape, making it worse. So, I resorted to applying a bead of putty under the offending area and mashing it down when attaching the cape to the body. Worked better than I hoped, just had to sand a little and paint.
