Hi Pfer's,
I'm excited to share the second of three painting commissions, another one of the Gunners of Burma series busts, 1/9th scale. I thought I'd re-label this fellow 'The Drummer'.
Plenty of light beige khaki (vallejo) tones for both the shirt and sun helmet. Again using german black brown to use for the shadows including the sweat stains, and of course white to lighten areas and highlights added to the base to.
Flesh tones are my go to, Vallejo Beige red ( base tone), along with German black brown and flat earth and white for adding the highlights.
Also the very very diluted dark red to bring the skin alive, plus in area's for the heat and touch of sun on the skin and of course a slight mix with the beige red for the lips.
Will be starting on the other two from the series shortly.
Thanks for looking.
