My attempt at a what’s in the box movie.
‘The Duel’, a 120mm diorama is my first commercial collaboration with Gordon B. Mitchell, with thanks on historical reference from Nigel Ashley.
A reimagined dramatic scene set at Waterloo in 1815, based on Carl Reid parts re-sculpted by me with a unique base. The diorama depicts a Scot’s Grey and French Cuirassier in a pistol duel rather than sword fight. A pistol cavalry fight is mentioned in dispatches by an eyewitness at the battle.
My first commercial model, produced and sold by Gordon Mitchell.
