c'est une très belle pièce.

l'uniforme est remarquable.

Je trouve en revanche que le visage est un peu monochrome et manque peut être un peu de contrastes.

Mais ce n'est que mon humble avis.;)

a good and clever conversion, good painting for a not easy coulor... mine version of a 3rd hussar is much older

Great version Ivo, I am a big fan of your creations.(y)

Serge, merci, tu as un peu raison pour le visage, j’essayé une sorte de blond look, un peu sans variations

Great figure Ivo like always !!!
What your opinion about the color "Gris Argentin", it's a grey or a blue ?
You know that is the big question concerning Napoleonics colors (with the Murat "Amarante)"

good question difficult to fix an answer. Officer had better quality tissue and probably lighter than the troop uniform.
I paint the color in a grey shade, very few blue color inside. the most recent is the flag bearer of the 3rd and you can read the touch of blu. but... I follow a sentence that I heard personally from Rigo... "nothing is sure before waterloo"

It is a difficult colour to reproduce. I was lucky that works,o_O
Please don’t ask what exactly I used....(n)..don't remember...
There are two colours that I used for sure; one was French Blue and Payne’s Grey (acrylics) from Jo Sonja....(y)

Thanks again
