Hi Jérémie, this a a wonderfull groundwork. Lots of inspiration for me, also will go form mounted figura and was thinkig about the muddy road and some rocks, yours idea is fantastic, very profesional. Let me ask you a question: the rocks inside the base are made out of the bark or what is it?

I like the tension created by the horse running the opposite way the tree is leaning. Nice action. Looking forward to more progress.

This is going to be exceptional Jérémie. Thanks for sharing the sbs and I'm really impressed with how you managed to cut into the base and lay in the groundwork. Outstanding.

Groundwork, even at this stage, looks really impressive.
I Particularly like the 'gnarly' trees, the look as if they're made from Rosemary bush stems.
About 14 years ago I was walking in the hills behind Puerto Pollensa in Majorca.
My then, 5 year old son asked me why the mountains smelled like chicken, it took me a few minutes to realise what he was describing was the wild Rosemary. Lots of the roots and stems had been dug up by the goats, these had dried in the sun into plenty of really impressive and convincing ' mature' tree shapes.
Brought loads home and this has formed the staple foundation for my groundwork ever since.
Will watch this with interest.
Regards
Derek
