Hi Folks,

Some of you may have already seen these when I posted them as masters some weeks ago. I thought you may like to see the first samples.

They are cast in genuine bronze finished with an antique patina. Presented on a solid wooden plinth.

I hope you like them!

If anyone wants further infromation, or is intersted in purchasing any of the pieces please email Richard Sheard at the following address.

Great War Bronze S.....

morning Carl.....
mate l love this type of work and the cold cast bronze, one should be very proud, l hope that you continue the range..and may l say that they make my own wee brain tick over...

good stuff Cobber..Phil..:)

Hi Carl,

You already know how highly I think of these sculpts, so I won't repeat myself here. But I will say that they need to be released as resin kits, as well as cold cast bronze. Please.

I agree: I would love to paint a couple of these myself. I would also love to see a full figure Old Contemptible.

You know I remember reading that some painters were not happy with these being made as bronze pieces. Cold cast bronze is more or less Resin with bronze powers mixed in. I look at them and think that they could easily be painted if that is what you would like to do with them. If I were to do this I would leave there pedestals alone and just prime the figure part and have it sitting on that wonderful bronze base.

Really wonderful figures Carl.

Best

Hello Folk's,

Firstly I would like to thank you for the possitive response to these pieces both as the masters, when i posted images a while ago and also now as the finished product. I would like to add, these are not cold cast resin, but are genuine hot cast bronze.

Thanks once again.

Carl

I'd still love to see the 'Old Contemptible' as a full figure in resin for us to paint!!

Good luck,

Mike
