Beautiful pieces... they always look great completed, but the idea of painting Samurai armour scares the hell outta me.

John beat me to it but that is what I thought it was too. Saw a show about manufacturing/effectiveness of samurai arms and armour on the Military Channel demonstrating its use. The Horo did in fact envelop/deflect arrows being fired at the dummy 'rider'. Even the effects of sword slashes were greatly reduced
