My daughter doesn’t share my affinity with Napoleonics. She says all I paint are “dead French generals.” So, I dug through my gray army to come up with this piece from Jupiter Miniatures as her Christmas gift. I actually got it done in time so the paint will be dry before the big day.

It’s painted in oils over acrylics. It’s mounted on some fingered black walnut I found at my local woodworking store. A nice alternative to the traditional mounting on black velvet.

Great to see you posting and a flat is good to see , nice painting and definitely not a "dead french General"

Like the colour choices they work well together , nice highs on the clothing and armour
