This is second time I have painted this first release from scale75. I really wanted to do something different than the box art and this is what I came up with. i also wanted to show off this really cool base I got from the Hussar made by a local craftsman of bases and base supplies. I need to remember to buy some more bases before he packs up for Atlanta. The cape is still a bet wet with oil color. please let me know what you think.

Beauty! You've the "flow" of a piece down pat Mike...everything moving together. Good luck!

Phil; I truly appreciate the "flow" comment. I'm trying to make it all work, base and figure in the same dynamic direction. Sometimes good sometimes not. Thanks again sir.

I really like what you have done here. The tunic looks great as are fleshtones and base. Not sure about the cloak since it is still wet. Glad to see you making use of different mediums Mike.

The base really adds to the overall dynamic of the piece. That sounds pretentious, but you know what I mean.
Carl.

Hi! Mike.
Wonderful figure and excellent painting!
Indeed it's beautiful.
And I liked this base very much.
I think it builds into a gorgeous masterpiece.
I congratulate completion.

Mitsutaka.

Fantastic compasition Mike of combining the figure and the base together to flow as one. Excellent. I have several of their figures on order now and look forward to seeing them arrive.
