Great job and really good to see these boys painted up, I suppose the wooden base thing comes down to personal taste, a few years ago I would have rejected a base with a chunk out of it however we now see many of the top figure painters displaying their works of art on bases with cracks in them, complete corner sections missing etc and it does add a level of character to the presentation.
