Dwelf update, I have had a couple of test castings back from Martyn(War Griffon) of the resin parts for this figure, and it was a real revelation! I have always been wary of resin (old fogey's prejudice), but from a weight point of view, all in metal was impractical! I was going to cast it myself in polyester, a couple of tries taught me the error of my ways, so I asked Martyn. He was very helpfull, and the casts I now have are sharp, clear crisp and CLEAN.
I am now busilly casting the pewter parts, and hope to have kits for sale very soon!!! :):)
It's a bit of a high horse to climb down from, but I now have to confess to being a fully reconstructed resin convert!
Best wishes, Gary.

Now that I have casts in resin and pewter, and everything has been checked to make sure it fits, the time has come for the Dwelf to leave the monochrome world of the sculptor, and emerge into the technicolour world of the painter where doubtless he will continue to do battle with the great ravenous Werehuman-always assuming I can find my paints and remember what to do with those brush thingies (no suggestions!!!)

Hi Iva, glad you like him,and welcome to the planet (I'm sometimes accused of being on a different one...... bu t there you go)o_O:whistle::woot:!!! Let me know if you want one?
Best wishes, Gary.

HelloGary ... Greetings after a long time of my absence. This figure obviously know from your Avatar, and I must say that I was always on her excited. It is a beautiful example of a great-sculpted stylized figure. Great job indeed. And your background story is great. I have great joy in sharing this sbs.
Good luck with the release.

Cheers Borek

Hi Borek, nice to hear from you, I'm glad you like him. History is still my thing, but I must admit to thoroughly enjoying the creative freedom that fantasy gives me, and it does allow me to indulge in pieces of silliness inventing backstories:).
best wishes, Gary.
