This diorama (scale 54 mm.) made for "AeroArt". The fragment of the ship is made of plastic, painted with acrylic paints. Water is made of epoxy.

this is just an excellent scene. The painting is obviously incredible but the water is what does it for me. i would love to see an SBS on your making of the water, I have a couple scenes in mind I would like to do that involve water but sadly I do not know how to do it.

Thanks Marc, Mike, Alexandros
I haven't the photos SBS.
I use a ordinary epoxy. I paint only the bottom of a dark blue, but the epoxy did not tint. The depth of the base 1,5 - 2 cm and I poured a few layers (3-4), drying each layer. When the last layer begins to harden I'm starting to form "waves" using synthetic devices. It takes about 1 - 1,5 hours until the epoxy hardens.

This is like an aquarium! You can stare at it for hours, finding something new to marvel and study every few minutes!

Great execution and wonderful work!!

Agree with everybody, wonderful job special the water. What kind of epoxy you used for the water?

really an awesome work. The Sea is incredible and the paintjob is fantastic, all these small waves on the shields must have taken hours and tons of nerves. The Dolphin is lovely painted...just amazing !!
Outstanding work. Really.
