Hi Hans

but I did fancy Lady Penelpoe ...lol

Nap

Yep, #metoo and.....I met her many years ago. My son ( must have been 9 or 10 years old ) went to a TB meeting here in Holland and there she was.......Sylvia Anderson....in the flesh (and in pink ). I must have a picture somewhere to proove it. Will post it when I find it and......no oiletpaper in view when you need one !!!

I know, it is insane.....and it's going faster then I thought due to the lousy weather........ ever made a 1/700 scale palmtree ???

No new post, just added another progress picture.

Launchbay and mainhouse are 99% ready.
Over to the next step ( and I say it again......the TB1 rocket is as big as a bottle of Scale 75 paint .....and the whole scene is 20x9x8 cm ) )

Seem to remember Blue Peter did this years ago with toilet rolls and sticky back plastic!!!!!

Way after BP, but I had to make one out of papier-mache and yoghourt cartons for my son's TB set during the great Tracy Island famine of the 80s (just between the Cabbage Patch Wars and the Tamagochi Riots). In the end we found a 'real' one, but never as much fun as the home made one ;)

I remember getting the matchbox island and rockets for my son for Santaclaus. Must have been 1995 or so.
When he unpacked it he said " it worked, i've been a good boy and see what Santa gave me!!!".
My dad bought me the Lincoln TB's when I was 10..
The house needs a bit lifting since it's not 100% horizontal.

This is going a bit too fast but will slow down as soon as the weather improves.....but....the TB1 Launchbay and all that comes with it are ready.
I made an overall picture with a 1 euro coin to give you an idea of its size.
Over to the next module....TB3 launchbay.

TB1 Launchbay (3).jpg TB1 Launchbay (2).jpg TB1 Launchbay (12).jpg TB1 Launchbay (1).jpg TB1 Launchbay (9).jpg TB1 Launchbay (10).jpgTB1 Launchbay (4).jpg TB1 Launchbay (5).jpg TB1 Launchbay (8).jpgTB1 Launchbay (13).jpg TB1 Launchbay (11).jpg

And now with some scenery and with the TB1 base. Next step is the boathouse and the TB2 launchbay but......due to a lockdown in France my 3D-printerfriend Luc ( Shapeways Printle shop ) can't post my parcel with 2 1/700 scale boats and 3 1/700 scale TB2 pods......)
