Did anyone else besides me miss the first episode? What did you think? For the most part I like the work that Burns has done. For me the soundtracks are what I really enjoy. The soundtrack consists of four (4) disks sold separately or in a box set.My wife picked up the box set and it's pretty nice. I mostly listen to soundtracks so this is a nice addition to the library.~Gary

The first episode here is Monday. I have it set to record on the DVR. I don't want to miss any of these. I expect I'll want to rewatch some of it.

There was an interesting interview with Burns on the Today show this morning. He said this will be the last war documentary he will ever make. He also made a very interesting comment. "Every day we lose 1000 World War II veterans. It's like a library burning down!" I had an interesting experience at a rural Post Office recently I parked to mail some letters. On the back of my jeep I have my support the troops ribbon and "parent of a soldier decal. As I was walking back to the car this older fellow came walking by me and said "tell you son thanks" I said I sure will and then I took a look at his cap. "Normandy Survivor" I had to say "thank You!"
