My home city of Sheffield, and it really shocked & scared the bejesus out of me the first time I saw it back in the '80s as I was very familiar with some of the locations. Really disturbing stuff. A friend of mine and her Mum were extras in it.

For a while afterwards at Sheffield Wednesday home games we used to chant "we're-gonna-die-in-a-nuclear-ollacost". Gallows humour at its best.

A very powerful and moving experience, saw it back in the 80s it scared the hell out of me and my family. Watching it again brought home the reality of what a modern unlimited war would do very scary indeed.

This should be shown in schools, just to show the reality of war.

Never mind schools. It should be shown in Parliament. I wonder how many MPs have seen it?

Blind pew, your right this government have not got a clue. And that’s very scary indeed. Watching it again the other night just made me think of how scary it was back then and just how close we might have come to this being a reality.
