Hi Chaps, as some of you know ‘Three days in June’ is now available on Amazon.
It has link in it which take you to photographic site, where you you will view numerous photos of 3 Para, these I would imagine would be of help as a reference to anyone creating a Falklands figure.
It is quite a long read, as I was told to cut out 75,000 words as it was too long, but I couldn’t as I thought that everyone I spoke to, held another piece of the jigsaw, an in order to give an all-round view of what was happening, their testimony was vital. It has been a long journey, but I think we now have a better understanding of the battle for Mount Longdon. I would like to thank the many blokes who came forward to tell me their story, it was an absolute honour and a pleasure going around the country meeting blokes, some of whom I hadn’t seen for years.
Thank you, to one and all,
Please raise your glasses to the Class of 1982.
Bye for now Jimmy

Hi Jimmy,
Good luck with this, it is not very often you get such a comprehensive first hand account, I hope it does very well for you. Mate, I will certainly raise a glass to the class of 1982.
cheers

About 75% through this and it's well hard to explain, but it's excellent for those who were there it will bring back a lot of memories so good some not so much, for those who weren't it's a real insight into both the Falklands and the some what unique mind set of the British soldier. Jimmy you've done a fantastic job and you should be very proud indeed.

Steve

Finished this book, it's fantastic one of THE best books I've read, there's even a cheeky "3 Para mortars" in joke in there :hilarious: I can't recommend it highly enough, nice one Jimmy mate
