Nice looking figs, I especially like the Ranger and the Rorkes Drift figure. Why manufacturers don't always list the scale is something that continues to baffle me, though. I'm assuming 54mm on the Bushwacker and 200mm on the Rorkes Drift fellow?

Morning folks,..
l have a soft spot for Ranger type subjects from this period although l do feel the strap going across his chest tends to divide the piece and makes him hard to look at over all...but thats only me, still like him..
Rorkes Drift he's a painters figure,it will be interesting to see how folks approach the red jacket, l do like him great face and hands..

..Phil..:)

Hello all!
I neglected to note the size of these new resin kits. The Colonial Ranger and The Rorke's Drift pieces are 1/9th scale and the Bushwhacker is 54mm.
Thanks for the compliments!
Mark

Really nice pieces here Mark so we'll look forward to receiving them shortly, in time for Euromilitaire.
Our compliments and regards,
Celine

Very nice work here Mark! I really like both busts, and John did a nice job on the mounted piece. I can see Phil's point about the Ranger, especially as this is a bust and that strap does cut across where the eye/mind would normally end a sculpt, but I really like this piece, so no matter for me either. The Rorke's Drift bust is just great. Carl, a tip of the virtual hat to you for this one! Anxious to see a painted version of this one as well! 2more for the ol' "wish list"! Thanks for the info Guy, and Mark, continued quality like this will keep you on top my friend!

I'm not much into early American subject matter, but that Ranger bust will be a must-have for me. I actually didn't notice the strap until someone mentioned it. I think it adds a very realistic and casual element to the piece. If anything I might carry down the length of the axe in his left hand (as you did the rifle in his right hand) to complete the image.

Kudos on the other two figures as well. Keep it coming!

Saw them at APG as well and agree with Gary, very fine work.

Also picked up his WW II US Inf. 45th. Div. 120mm at the show. This is an excellent kit, clean crisp casting of a great sculpt by Kanthaboon. Just as important to me is the intelligent engineering, no large mold plugs to hack off and most parts keyed for assembly ease.

I saw the Ranger and Bushwacker (which is 54mm) at the APG show. They're both nice kits. ~Gary
