Afterthought, but I believe one of the measurements I provided for the shoulder boards needs to be ignored. The 2cm distance to the collar has to be in reference to regular tunics. In photos of the panzer wrap, shoulder straps tend to be slightly hidden under the wider collar/lapel.

I agree, in fact tank crews uniforms had a neck larger than the infantry..

I modeled the badge of the tank drivers, although I believe that by printing in 3d many details will be useless ... I want to say that I do not want to offend anyone with this overabundance of swastikas, it is just historical research ..;)

Looks good.
As far as the swastikas go, I think 3D printer well let you know how it feels about them - lol.
There should be date 1939 embossed on the Iron Cross. Also if the wearer has this award, it's likely he previously has been awarded Iron Cross 2nd class, displayed with just the ribbon in the button hole of the lapel.

This looks nice!
What scale is it for the 3D print? Love to see how well those details will hold up.

Keep up with the good work

I finally found some time to complete the "Commander":
turned his head slightly, I tight little shoulders, other details, is ready for prototyping.
The cables radio I think, will be made with copper wire, the support headphone photoetched ... we'll see,

That looks seriously impressive, and good call on the copper wiring and PE. Good luck with the printing stage.

Thanks alot JackG:) , by April I should have a 3d print all to myself, now I have to think about a new subject, suggestions are welcome

Good stuff.
Working on my first figure digitally but had to say it takes much longer than what I initially think.

Keep up with the good work

Hi mandreas,

Good to see the figure in physical 3D print! Wonder how the detail of the eagle on the field cap holds up as the photo isn't too clear. Is that layer thickness 0.075 microns ( or 75 microns ) and what printer is it?

vince

Thanks Vince,:)
as you say .. I correct 0.075 mm = 75 microns, the next test I do with 15 microns, we will see how to preserve the details, the printer is a Makex, probably, with the resin using by DWS (which costs a leg :dead: ) the details would be better ..
Andrea

Please, please, love to see how 15 micron comes up ( sorry to sound like a spoiled kid wanting candies but I'm really excited :):nailbiting::) ) Thanks for the info of Makex which I am not aware of.
