Completed Tirailleurs Seneglais 1914

Boy. did these men get the short end of the stick. From what I was able to find out was that in October 1914 5 battalions were shipped to France,Fightning mostly in the Flanders,defending Dixmude with the French fusiliers marin.By November 1914 all 5 battalions were listed as destroyed in combat. This is a bust finely sculpted by PILIPILIand real fun to paint

As you will find when you read more about WW1 whas that it is more terrible for the soldiers then WW 2
