I was planning divorce proceedings and then she buys me a framed large scale photo of the charge of the Australian light horse at Beersheeba in 1917. Hard not to love a woman who knows me that well.

I was lucky - the wife got me Young Miniatures RAF Bomber Command Bust, Andrea Odin, Beneito US Infantry Aerdennes, Ares Draconia 54mm Shanna, Benieto Rorkes Drift and US Navy Seal, Scale 75 Sarah Kilminster, NutsPlanet 101st Airborne Bust, Alexandros English Long Bowman and Beneito Foreign Legionairre.

My gob was smacked at how much she got me...usually only one or two

I did get some other pressies - shirts and stuff - the kids got me some great things - my eldest a viking horn to drink mead from - my middle one two superb WW2 books and my son got me a superb book on hollywood photography.

I did get the wife a DSLR camera.
