Ox tongue.....one of my absolute favourite meats.
I used to help my granny prepare, cook and press the tongues.
Loved cleaning and trimming the root of the tongue but the smell as it cooked will never leave me.
Another favourite I used to help her with was tripe. There used to be a butchers in Darlington market that sold the different types. Might pop over when I'm at S&L
