I am the one beside you with the huge maracas trying to figure out which end to play the guitar.

We had to give you something to do. ;)

I have been following the complaints with great interest because I do not suffer most of the issues that members are complaining about. Yes there has been an increase in trolls lately but they are easy to ignore (or poke fun at). With regards to the other problems I get none. The site pages load quickly on both my desktop computer and iPad, I see no adverts of any kind and receive no error messages. Now I run an Apple with adblocking software on my desktop but only a simple browser on my iPad. My thought therefore is that the issue is to do with compatability of the website with Microsoft web browsers and OS. It would be interesting to hear from other Apple users on their experiences.

Hi Ken

I use an Imac but get the adds so point me in the right direction of the add blocker :)

Ron
If you are using safari as your browser go to Safari tab at the very top of screen when Safari is open and select 'Safari extensions' This will take you to a page of available browser extensions. Look for 'Addblocker' and install it. I believe the same thing is available for Google Chrome users as well.

Cant down load because I cant fid safari ext preferences ,do you know where this is Ken

Ok
Open Safari. At the very top of your screen next to the Apple logo you will see Safari File Edit View History Bookmarks Window Help. Click on Safari tab and you will see a drop down menu. The second item down is Safari Extensions. Click this and it will open another web page of Safari extensions from Apple. If you scroll down the page a bit you should see AdBlock on the left of the screen (the icon is an 8 sided shape with a hand in the middle. Download and it will instal into Safari and will appear as an icon near you address bar so you can customise it to suit.

Got that far ken but can't open the the download as extensions are disabled and don't know where to go to enable them

Right,we will get there eventually
Click on the Safari tab again and then click on preferences. one of the tabs will be named Extensions. When you click on that tab you will open a window that has an on/off slider button. Click it on to all the installation of extensions
