After being unable to include John Wayne in my last "Fort Apache" movie vignette of "Lt Col Thursday's Last Stand" because he just wasn't in the scene, I decided to give him another chance and paint him in the role of Tom Doniphon in the 1962 movie "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" co-starring with Jimmy Stewart and Lee Marvin.

It's a great oldie kit from Andrea released in 2001 and a joy to paint.

Since I didn't used the supplied base, I created some wood flooring from Dollhouse supplies and added some playing cards that I printed off the web.

All painting done in Acrylics.

Thanks for looking and I'll be back with more Westerns soon. :)

Cheers,
Ken

You've done it again Ken! I loved that movie. Those Andrea pieces from that era are very well done and your rendition is excellent!
