Tom Doniphon, "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance", Andrea 54mm Metal

After being unable to include John Wayne in my last "Fort Apache" movie vignette of "Lt Col Thursday's Last Stand" because he just wasn't in the scene, I decided to give him another chance and paint him in the role of Tom Doniphon in the 1962 movie "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" co-starring with Jimmy Stewart and Lee Marvin.

It's a great oldie kit from Andrea released in 2001 and a joy to paint.

Since I didn't used the supplied base, I created some wood flooring from Dollhouse supplies and added some playing cards that I printed off the web.

All painting done in Acrylics.
