Thanks to everyone for your kind comments. Jason B, LOL. I beat you to it though. On the back of the model I put a copy of the original Hot Hunters Spring photo and a B&W photo of the model itself shown from the photographers point of view. I didn't show this as it was done before I included the snow and there is another figure that I took off (Steve McQueen in Wanted dead or alive). He was kneeling and this didn't look right for a snow scene. Hats off for thinking alike though.
Thank you Adrian and John.
Adrian - the photographer originally was a stand alone figure with a head and everything else. He stood to the side of the camera. I wanted him bent over the camera so I used a hack saw to cut him off at the shoulders losing the head and arms then draped a thin sheet of rolled out milliput over the figure and camera to get the desired look.
Blimey you don't do things by half ...what can I say except BRILLIANT composition , all painted to a very high standard , really like the way you have thought this out .
Full of great details ..the undertaker is a gem ..the building is spot on as well
Its a pleasure to see this piece with so much work gone into it it raelly does look like you enjoyed yourself ...we ALL certainly have looking at it .
