If it's possible, given the subject matter, could you use the poppy with the anchor on it from the poster as a base. I personally think that would be a very fitting base.

The Leading Seaman badge on the left arm should be on a cloth patch like the branch badges on the right. The long service stripes should be less angled as well. That aside an excellent hemi figure.

The photograph was taken at an investiture. Recipients of decorations pin a hook onto their uniform upon which the medal can be hung by HM the Queen or her representative.
