Smashing job on a beautifully posed figure. The 'flatness' of the paint adds a nice touch to the subtle weathered look.
Great result on the groundwork plenty of interest without being overdone and distracting

I have been using it ever since. you can just about get a 200mm bust inside but perfect for 54-120mm figures.

Thank you but the lace on the shoulder scale's are a nightmare and the detail is so tiny that is was impossible to do it justice. I know the RWF have been represented in other scales, but in an earlier period.

My apologies missed this ..blimey isn't 54mm small ! And doesn't Troop 54 do some lovely figures ..love the pies of this piece line the simple yet effective groundwork ..nice work on the uniform colours ..very nicely matted down .

Thanks Nap. Yep going to have to do another bust. Looking at 60th rifles from stormtroopers. 54 is small but have to use an optivisor but these are cracking figures.

Thanks Geoff, I had a lot of fun with this one, although 54 with my eyes is a pain, even using an Optivisor, I do like painting them.

I know about eyes, mine are the same, I usually paint 1/35th figures at my modelling sessions at the Tank Museum, but they are fun to paint.
