This is based on Tamiya's 1/16 German Field Officer kit. As I already have an OOTB version in the cabinet, I thought I'd try a light conversion. I gave him a new right arm, hands, and a Reedees head, and have tried to present him as coming forward to parley with the enemy or perhaps surrendering.

Patrick -Thank you.

Henk - Glad you like him.

Chris - Many thanks also. The jacket colour is Vallejo's German Uniform, a different shade from their Field Grey, a bit greener and nicer to paint with. Just a reminder of the variations in colour that existed:

These are all originals.

Hi Peter

Very nicely painted , like the uniform colour , so many variations , and the work on the awards , nice idea for conversion as well

Like the way you line the seams and the variation on the headwear colour

Again Mr R's great range comes into place and looks good

Another good piece from you

Happy benchtime

Nice conversion Peter, there is no end to what you can do with these figures. Lovely painting as usual.

Morning Peter

Another great figure, and more modelling too, nice work.

The Reedee's heads do add the the cherry to your work.

I didn't know that old school Dettol was getting difficult to find?

Have fun in the attic with your boxed reserves

Regards

Steve H

Hi Peter!

Like the colour of the trousers and the fieldgrey. (y)

Cheers,
Pedro.

Federico - Molte grazie!

Ricardo - Many thanks old mate.

Steve - There do seem to be endless possibilities. Thanks once again for a great head.

Steve H - Glad you like him. Brown Dettol is certainly rare in this neck of the woods - lots of new varieties, but they don't strip paint. You'll be pleased to know that I have a couple of busts lined up.

Pedro - Thank you.

Scott - Many thanks also.
