A Fixture
Hi all
This one is my latest miniature. It is based on a illustration by Michel Saez on a italian trumpeter of Dragons during the siege of Girona in 1809. It is based on a miniature by Art Girona and the conversion work has been made in order to get a closer resemblance.
This is the original artwork by Michel Saez:
And this is the miniature without any conversion, as it appears in the Art Girona webpage:
This is my version:
Everyone is invited to see it on display in Girona at the next Soldat the Plom show (October 23th to 25th), where it will be displayed among many others fine miniatures, inspired in other illustrations by Michel Saez and made by some really good modellers from Spain, France and Italy. This is an exhibition intended to conmemorate the 200th anniversary of the napoleonic siege of Girona. Among the features of this edition of the show, there will be an exibition of napoleonic formations with huge numbers of fine miniatures.
Hope to see you all there!
Regards
FeR
