Following the terrible cataclysm, I hope that all our members in South-East Asia, especially Singapore, are safe and well.

Kenneth, Calvin, Paul, please let us know.

Hi Guys,
thanks for all the concern.
Singapore is fine as far as the Tsunami is concerned. We are quite fortunate to be sheltered from most natural disasters as we are situated in between Sumatra and Kalimantan which absorb most of the seismic waves rom the major faults. The only casualties we have were holiday makers in Thailand. It's a real tragic sight to see the victims' bodies washed up to shore in the news this morning.
My condolences and prayers to the all the victims and their families. God bless all of them.

Calvin

Thanks for the concern,Quang,Roc,Andy, and all my friends and fellow modellers on the "planet" (y) ! Like Calvin said,we're relatively safe here in Singapore, the only casualties so far being holiday-makers in the affected areas. I,too, would like to offer my prayers to all the affected victims in these countries.
Kenneth. :(

My thoughts go out to everyone in the area.
We had a family holiday to Sri Lanka a few months ago and the area we were in is now devastated. We met many people there and their openess and generosity stuck with us.

Phew!

İ'm glad to hear you and the other people in Singapore are fine, Calvin! This was my first fear when İ heard about the disaster.

My thoughts still go with everyone affected though...

Calvin, sorry about the long "radiosilence". İ will email you soon!

As one of the new guys here, I'm glad to hear that our fellow figure modelers are safe. I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say that our thoughts and prayers are with those less fortunate.

I have heard about a lot of terrible things happen in the world in my 54 years--but this beats all of it because it all happened in a single afternoon! It is a tragedy of the first magnitude & I for one am going to take the money I was going to spend next month on modeling and send it to a relief fund. No amount can be too small to help out!
May God bless all who suffer in those stricken lands...

I'd have a special thought for our Swede members Mike Blank and Uruk-Hai whose country has suffered many, many losses.

Happy New Year anyway. It cannot be worse than 2004.
