Hi guys,
I'd like to introduce this special new bust. It's been a collaborative effort - sculpted by Anders Heintz, cast by Mark Mindeman of Thunderbird Miniatures, and this example was painted by me. Copies will be available at the upcoming Tulsa show, and sales will benefit the show and the HMSNEO club that organizes the show. The bust is 200mm in scale and represents a rev war colonial militiaman. Also, I will be leading an all-day painting workshop on the Friday before the show, and this bust will be the subject of the workshop. I wanted to see how quickly I could get it painted to prepare for the workshop, and I managed to get this done in two days. I'm a slow painter, so for me that is lightning fast. I'm now confident that we should be able to finish or nearly finish the bust in the workshop. Thanks for looking!
