I just got back from Tulsa where the www.hmsneo.org sponsored their annual "Swap Meet".. The host was Mike Davidson and the place was "The Hussar" in Tulsa, Oklahoma
The club membership turned out for this even where kits were selling for a dollar and up. I met Anders and John Long there and beleive me............their work in "The Flesh" was 20 times better looking than the pictures they post here. My hat is off to Anders for the work he brought with him as it was Outstanding.......The flesh tones you see him post do not give him credit. Absolutely Beautiful Anders!!!!
I got a chance to see John Longs' Indian Vignette...........couldn't take my eyes off of it and it was the center of attention in the showroom.
I picked up another Celtic Vignette, 54mm by Jaguar, for $3.oo and a Poste Militaire McBeth for 5 dollars. whew...........was there ever some good buys there. A great bunch of miniaturist gather in Tulsa everymonth and they knew how to show we were welcome.
Thanks Mike, for a great evening.
