Hi guys :) !
I know I've not posted stuff in a fair bit here , so here's something to make up for my tardiness. I saw the Zvezda kit of the BMW R-12 motorcycle combination and decided to have a go making my favorite WW2 subject, Rommel's Afrika Korps. As usual, both figures are full-scratch built with Magicsculpt and Duro, with parts from Hornet, Warriors, Lionroar, Historex and my spares box. The seagulls are castings from Hardcorps Models. The beautiful base is a one-off made by Ron from the Hussar model shop. The motorcycle was detailed with cabling and a scratch built battery (the only omission from the kit). Groundwork is a mixture of Celluclay, white glue, pigment powder and sand, rocks, dried plants from my diorama stash. The whole vignette is to 54mm scale. Thanks for looking and the next step, of course will be painting. Cheers !
Kenneth :D.

Hi Ben !
Thank you very much. I really enjoyed incorporating the seagulls into the scene; it certainly gives a different aspect to the desert environment of the conflict ;). Cheers !

Hi All,

I had the great fortune to view this piece up front and nearly broke the brake cabling on his superdetailed bike (on purpose...:)).
Fantastic work. You can almost spot the cloaca on the seagull...:)
Ken, please come back to the dark side.

Victor
