I originally found this bust at Wonderfest 09 and whengetting it home found no company
name/logo to speak of.Finally i found out it and its brethern are from CB's house of resin
They have produced a series of Batman busta based on various artist enderings.Casi in a grey resin, they are very clean casts.Pictures but not the kits are able to be seen at The united Empre Miniatures web site

Wow, that's a real beauty of a Batman. I've never heard of these folks before so I checked them out on the UEM site (thanks for that tip). This is definitely my favorite of what I saw there.
Thanks for posting,
Craig :)

I really like this, and a couple of the others as well Jay! I wish the large rock base was cast seperately so you had a choice to use it or not. Thanks for posting this up!

Turner Batman Bust

This is very nice and a must get if you can get in your hands !! Very nicely painted too.

Jay -- you can always cut the bust from the stand and add in your own support I guess, but either way this is a very good sculpt, there are a lot of good Sci Fi units around that are worth having.

Thanks very for posting. RobH.

Is this actually for sale ? If so is their a online site available with the info ?

Thanks

Thanks for posting, Ric and I'm glad you guys like 'em!

Here he is with a couple of his buddies, inspired by the artwork of Jim Lee and Frank Miller. If you are a Batman reader and a fan of the artists, you'll see that the particular likenesses are spot on.

The Bats below were painted in acrylics by the very talented Jennifer Lujan.

I have all but the Kane Robin, Nightwing, and the Barbara Gordon Batgirl. They are all top-notch and are going to be a blast to paint. Thank God for my birthday money!

Great

Just thought I would mention that I received two of the busts today.

The sculpts are superb, cast in a hard cream color resin. They are perhaps the best large scale resin casting work I`ve ever seen. The busts need maybe 5 min. of prep at most. Then to painting.

Most highly recommended !
