I’m delighted with these figures, not only are they the first in the 1/32 scale series to show the Brodie helmet they also each come with alternative heads wearing a Wolseley helmet. This allows the modeller to show the figures in Western Europe (Brodie helmet) but also Gallipoli, the Middle East, Salonika and East Africa (Wolseley helmet).

The figures ideally suit the Ordnance QF18 pounder in the Tommy’s War range, or can be shown with the limber or on their own.

As always a catalogue featuring the full range is available at www.tommyswar.com to download for FREE.

2015 promises to be a huge year for Tommy’s War with our biggest figure release schedule to date. I can confirm that I already have the next 8 figures cast by Nino, a further surprise 1/32 scale figure from a new sculptor and a further bust for the 1/10 series.

Certainly, Euro Militaire promises to be quite exceptional with a really nice set of 6 figures planned for release at Folkestone.

Thank you for your support.

Excellent as ever Darren. Really like this pair, and the choice of headgear is to be commended.

Cheers

Finally, the Somme Offensive figures are coming out! I have the medals to one of the Leicestershire 'Tigers' who was KIA during the Battle of Bazentin Ridge on 14 July. Hint.....hint.

I would like to give thanks to Darren for the chance and the confidence for let me give the official color to their wonderful pieces. It's a pleasure to work on Nino's works.

Thanks for the feedback on these guys.

It's now on to what promises to be the busiest period in the short history of Tommy's War as I gear up something like 14 figure releases (8 from Nino, 6 from other sculptors) between September and November this year.

The majority of new releases will be in September (Euro Militaire) which will include the launch of TW54S02. Sculpted by Nino, this set consists of 6 figures and a scenic base.

I'll be announcing details of what exactly this is close to the release date, but trust me when I say that its a beautiful piece, as you'd expect from Nino. Indeed, a copy of the piece (from the first casts) was painted and presented to the Countess of Wessex at a garden party at Buckingham Palace on June 4th this year. I hope this gives you an idea of the quality.

So, plenty more to come from Tommy's War, and I'm not getting complacent as I'll be looking to raise the bar even further in 2016.

Darren
