Tommys War
A Fixture
I’m pleased to announce the latest figures in the Tommy’s War series:
TW54027 – Battery Sergeant, Royal Field Artillery, The Somme 1916
TW54028 – Major, Royal Field Artillery, The Somme 1916
Sculptor: Nino Pizzichemi
Box art: Alex Varela (Iguazzu Artstudio)
Size: 1/32 scale
Material: resin
Price: £14 (may differ at some retailers)
Available from: www.tommyswar.com
I’m delighted with these figures, not only are they the first in the 1/32 scale series to show the Brodie helmet they also each come with alternative heads wearing a Wolseley helmet. This allows the modeller to show the figures in Western Europe (Brodie helmet) but also Gallipoli, the Middle East, Salonika and East Africa (Wolseley helmet).
The figures ideally suit the Ordnance QF18 pounder in the Tommy’s War range, or can be shown with the limber or on their own.
As always a catalogue featuring the full range is available at www.tommyswar.com to download for FREE.
2015 promises to be a huge year for Tommy’s War with our biggest figure release schedule to date. I can confirm that I already have the next 8 figures cast by Nino, a further surprise 1/32 scale figure from a new sculptor and a further bust for the 1/10 series.
Certainly, Euro Militaire promises to be quite exceptional with a really nice set of 6 figures planned for release at Folkestone.
Thank you for your support.
Darren
