Superb stuff Pete , Look forward to seeing them in the flesh or milliput as it were !!!!

Spiv

Thanks fellas!:)
I'm not totally sure about the best way to describe a 'Spiv'- I think that it's '40's British slang for someone who deals in the black market and avoids military service! (thanks Pat!)
Also described as a racketeer who could get hold of a load of silk stockings at a price!!!!
Part of 'The Underworld'!!!
Bit like a Politician really!!! LOL!!
Pete

Hope this helps

A spiv was typically a flashily dressed man (velvet collars and lurid kipper ties) who made a living by various disreputable dealings, existing by his wits rather than holding down any job, and who often supported himself by petty black-market dealings.

Thanks for the explanation. Something like a "wise guy" if Im not mistaken.

I dont know about others but I would love to see Detective
Chief Superintendent Foyle to go with these fellows in your range?

Cheers

More civilians?

Thanks chaps!:)
A 'Foyle' type figure is on the cards (unmarked cards!!!:) ), along with a few other civilian figures, but maybe not so dodgy!
Hey Mike
A photo of you sculpting a figure wearing a suit, tie and Trilby hat would be interesting to say the least!!!:)
