Just to answer a few points.

Robert - thanks for your order, plans for extras are early so I can't say yet, I can say that additional heads are certainly something I want to do. I have plans for one 'extra' set, but I think its something special so don't want to reveal too much too soon!

Alex - great idea on the rifles, I will look in to that. I will say that I've left a clue by saying the range is Britain and the Empire and with the incredible effort that our Canadian brothers made during the period its a definite that the Canadians will soon be making an appearance! I think the role of the Empire (with perhaps the exception of the Australians) has been overlooked, and is something I would like to put right.

Eas6644 - I can say that the next two figures are TW54003 Bombadier, Royal Horse Artillery, Mons 1914, TW54004 Captain, Royal Fusiliers, Mons 1914. Personally, I like the RHA figure, its full of character, but other people have told me that the Captain is the best one of the four so far! You are correct with the colour, I think its the lighting and colour balance, but I would always advise checking colour references and I've got plenty of sites with colour images of uniforms if anyone wants them.

fmargem - I've no plans for 120mm at the moment, but the brief is for the 1914-18 period and I'm open to consideration of any size and format of the figures in support of the range.

I'm happy to answer any questions as best I can, keep asking away!

Darren

Would love to see those uniform websites.

Sorry Darren, another question:

Are there any British "casualties" (wounded, deads...) on the workbench for a near future ????
I think it would be a good option for "Diorama-builders" like me that spend a lot of time making hard tranformations on comercial figures in order to get realistic "casualties" for our WW I scenes.
I have a "destroyed trench" wich needs casualties in abundance after a hard bombardment........
Thanks in advance for your kind cooperation.
AHH, by the way !! My first order is on the way !!! (1st Btn. Lincolnshire regt.) Astonishing figure, plenty of character and action !!!
Best regards.

My Middlesex Regt figure arrived quickly and is top notch. Am looking forward to further releases.

I just wanted to say a massive thanks to everyone on this forum for all the good wished and positive messages and to say hello to everyone that I met at the East Midlands Model Show yesterday - I had a great day, and lots of conversations about the Tommys War range and I've got to say that I'm blown-away by the enthusiasm for the figures.

When the range was nothing more than a thought in my mind I hadn't realised the desire for WW1 figures and I am so pleased that I share a passion for this era with so many others and that we were able to talk about it.

I've had some great ideas for the range, I will of course introduce the long Lee Enfield fairly soon with the Naval Battalion figures (if I'm not giving too much away) and of course the Territorial regiments plus the Ross Rifle when the Canadians arrive on the Western Front! However, with the feedback I've got I am hoping to be able to provide a weapons pack later in the year so that they can interchange.

Please keep your feedback coming, it really is important!

Many, many thanks

Darren
